General Robert E. Lee coffee mug $10.00
Review by Jacob Tyler Date Added: Saturday 04 February, 2017
Did General Lee drink coffee?
Off the top of my head, I can't say I know. But he is immortalized on this mug with an, although stern, pretty neutral posture, which means that you can sip your morning beverage whilst imagining the esteemed general looking on in a way that says "drink that coffee soldier, you've got a war to fight!" or a "It would behoove you, sir or madame to consume that caffeinated beverage with a trifle more moderation" as you see fit.

I ordered the entire set of these mugs & in short order after receiving them in the mail I was compelled to retire all of my old mugs except my commemorative Media Bypass mug.

We're told in scripture to do everything as unto the Lord, and while this can be challenging thing to apply to every part of our lives, one could argue that commemorating the great Christian causes of history and paying homage to the Christian heroes who fought for them with every sip we take is as valiant an effort as any; so these mugs representing a means to that end is in my estimation a huge selling point.

Maybe you'd just like to use them to show your southern pride though... *I suppose* they'd be suitable for that as well. ;-)

The mugs themselves seem sturdy enough, especially for the price point. I don't think it would be reasonable to expect CRC to print anything on a super resilient mug without having to charge more--though I'd love to see these designs printed/made available on some steins, etc. as well.
Something for CRC to work towards perhaps?

I'd also give a top notch rating to the actual artwork, which is vibrant, easy to read and high quality.

I don't suppose any review would be very thorough without addressing the packaging of the product, which was hardly disappointing either.

CRC seems to spare no expense on this front, as I received all 5 of mine wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap wound tightly around each mug individually and taped fast.

In summation, from the quality of the printed design on the mug to the very way the product is packaged and delivered, these mugs are clearly not just another piece of generic rebel memorabilia, but a labor of love celebrating our Confederate heritage and the spirit of righteous resistance to the machinations of evil forces.

5/5 Must have for every Confederate-loving home and/or as a great gift item for another unreconstructed southerner in your life.

NOTE:
CRC doesn't have these listed as a set at this time, but I would strongly recommend them doing so, just to give people that option.
