The Littlest Rebel (DVD)
$10.00

originally released in 1935
black and white; 73 minutes

The troubles of the War of Northern Aggression come home to a little plantation girl when her father is arrested and charged with espionage against the Yankees. One of the most dramatic of Shirley Temple’s films, The Littlest Rebel is also a spirited musical comedy. Co-starring Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, this classic motion picture is packed with delightful musical numbers, including Shirley’s unforgettable version of “Dixie.”

Also included is an additional disc with two rare Shirley shorts and the one-hour 1940 Lux Radio Theater presentation of The Littlest Rebel.
