The Gray Ghost (DVD) $24.00 $22.00
Review by Raymond Flight Date Added: Sunday 30 September, 2007
The minute I started to watch THE GRAY GHOST dvd, memories from my childhood came flooding back. The gallant Major Mosby outwitting the Federal aggressors time and time again. The episodes, depicting real-life events, portray the Confederacy in a positive, honorable way - far from the raggedy, racist, country bumpkin myth that the Yankees would have you believe! No wonder this series was 'swept under the carpet'! Can't allow the the South to be seen in a good light now can we!
If you want to see what the Northerners called the 'Civil War' from a different perspective, then this is the dvd for you. Thank God that these 12 episodes were saved and committed to dvd format before they, too, were 'lost' forever - and thanks to the CRC for giving us the opportunity to watch once again those dashing escapades by THE GRAY GHOST!
Deo Vindice.
