I've been looking for the DVDs for the Gray Ghost for decades! I was in 2nd grade when my father got orders to transfer to France while in the Army. He and I watched the show in the months before we left the States for four years living in France, a country with only one TV channel available,only in French! I remember talking about the show with other classmates of mine overseas with our memory only, and this is what got my interest in history piqued! I (and some of my friends) checked out every book we could from the post library, learning more about the Civil War. This show was one of the few reasons why I got interested in history, especially the Civil War time period. I am really saddened that only a few of the episodes remain, and hope with great anticipation that the rest will be found and made available to the next generations. For any one with an interest in TV history, and a different side of the Civil War, should get these DVDs and enjoy nostalgia without the commercials.
